A letter from the author:
MI QUERIDO PUEBLO: What I offer is not an end-all solution or social-justice-in-a-box. In this course are lessons learned from my digital warpath that can help community-led social justice movements navigate around socio-economic barriers which have been erected to disempower and oppress.
My methods are not the only way to demand justice or digitally resist. My goal is not to promote a one-size-fits-all strategy. The intention is to level the playing field by outlining basic standards of technological knowledge for supporting movements led by communities of color. These methods were developed with the understanding that the power and the platform belong to the community.
In the spirit of resistance and love, I offer these flowers of my experience to the world. These are the virtual arrows of the digital warrior. They must be used carefully to defend, create, liberate, and heal.
