Erika González is a Tejana-Xicana born on the borderlands of Eagle Pass, Tx and Piedras Negras Coahuila, Mx.She is the former Co-Director of East Austin based grassroots environmental justice organization PODER (People Organized in Defense of Earth and her Resources).Currently Erika teaches Kindergarten in East Oakland and is enjoying being a mother of two beautiful children.
