LYRICS & TRANSLATION:

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

We are intertwined by a string, along the lace of life and love,
to the leather and through our hearts we are all united, together around the same trunk of a drum.

Like a sacred drum the size of the earth that will sound with the great echo of its womb,
vibrating to dance and sing our prayers of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Breathing life through the wind and the aroma of copal and salvia incense,
Stewed by the sun and the sweat lodge, and moving about holding hands with a wise one (elder).

From an ancestral tradition of our existence, sharing the best of ourselves
with the motive to improve and transcend, searching our interior with every fast
.

And rotating in a braided spiral where it doesn’t matter your color or your nation,
with the seven directions connected in the work of happiness and healing.

Like sisters/brothers/siblings, like friends, like one and all,
celebrating the existence of here and now,
for the crops of corn and other grains, for the fruits, for the flowers and for you.
