Remembering our Tāp Pīlam Coahuiltecan ancestors.

After 25 years the Alamo Trust Fund has denied access to Mission San Antonio de Valero (The Alamo) where many ancestors have married and where over 1300 ancestors lay at rest.

On Saturday their were chains from refraining us to enter Mission San Antonio de Valero due to the lawsuit the tribe is filing for lack of due process regarding the recognition of the cemetery.

The Alamo has been designated as a World Heritage site and the Alamo Trust Fund wants to erase our ancestors from history and change it into their narrative.

We cannot let that happen!

The Tāp Pīlam Coahuiltecan Nation’s Ceremony is acknowledgment to those ancestors that are buried underneath the grounds and even within the walls.

Please join our elders in solidarity and prayer starting today leading up to the court date from 8:00- 8:30 AM or please take the time during that hour to pause and pray.
